External Forces
Bug in my brain software
I had to slow down for a couple weeks due to a personal health bug. Did you know we have crystals in our ears? Apparently some came loose in one of my ears and threw everything off balance. Vertigo is definitely a bug in the software of our brain. There’s a bugfix called the Epley Maneuver that’s pretty fascinating too. The whole thing feels a bit too much like magic.
Anyway, that’s why I skipped last week. But now we’re back again.
This Week’s Stories
There’s quite a theme to the stories this week. They all seem to involve external forces. As Arjun Kapoor once said, “Sometimes, it is an external force that makes you realize your real potential.”
🏖️ We had a unit test once which only failed on Sundays - Unit tests are asking for Sundays off now.
🌧️ GZIP exceptions, but only on hot or rainy days - Have to take a rain check to unzip this file. Sorry.
🗓️ Crashes only on Wednesdays - Working on medical equipment has to be somewhat terrifying.
🥤 Application crashes when I drink coke - But not when drinking coffee. I couldn’t imagine being the first one to read this IT ticket.

I don’t think there’s a day that goes by that I don’t open Notion. I use it for journaling, tracking my personal and professional projects, and even my video game backlog.
